9.2 Creating News Items

Creating News items allows you to send news across your entire portal for information that updates your user population about important details.

When being displayed in the News widget of your portal (Metrics Screen) the headline and the Summary of the event is what will be displayed on screen by default.  Clicking on the the event will then open up the Details section for the user.
