Pastoral Categories are also often referred to as Incident Types. These are the categories or types of incidents that you can report when writing student pastoral notes.

You can create an unlimited number of Pastoral Record Incident Types in REACH.  Each incident type can be give positive, negative or neutral level of cordiality.

Adding an Incident Type or Pastoral Category

Click on the Add Incident Type button to create a new incident type.

Give the Incident type a Label or name.

Set the Cordiality of the incident.  Is the incident type for positive, negative or neutral behavior?

If you run a points system for boarder behaviour management on campus then you can set the points system that the incident you are creating relates to.
